Shopify Merchant Data

MetaMaintain integrates with Shopify and accesses merchant data through Shopify's APIs. We handle this data in accordance with Shopify's API Terms of Service and only access the minimum data necessary for the app's functionality — specifically, the metafield and metaobject definitions and entries needed to perform analysis and sync operations.

Cookies and Tracking

MetaMaintain does not use cookies or tracking technologies on this marketing website. The application itself uses session storage for authentication purposes only.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Deletion and Compliance

Our application implements mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks to handle data deletion requests in accordance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations:

  • Customer Data Requests: We respond to requests for customer data access within required timeframes
  • Customer Data Redaction: We delete customer personal information when requested
  • Shop Data Redaction: We permanently delete all shop data when requested

When you uninstall our app or request data deletion, we automatically:

  • Delete all stored shop session data
  • Remove all store link relationships and sync mappings associated with your shop
  • Purge any cached definition or entry information
  • Cancel active subscriptions

Data deletion requests are processed automatically through Shopify's webhook system and typically complete within 48 hours.
